Museum Park Wins
Livable Centers Grant!
Seeks Additional Funding
The Museum Park Neighborhood was selected by the Houston-Galveston Area Council to receive a $250,000 Livable Centers Grant. Thanks to the hard work of MPNA members and generous support of donors, the Livable Centers Grant will fund a major study to address Museum Park challenges that have developed due to the immense growth in our area.
Emerging from the study will be a Master Plan, which will enable Museum Park to obtain grants and investments designed to implement the plan. Recently completed Livable Centers studies have resulted in construction investment ranging from $10 to $23 million.
To take full advantage of the grant, Museum Park must raise an additional $9,000 in matching funds. You can support this effort by making your tax-deductible contribution by December 30. Please send your check to MPNA, PO Box 667279, Houston, TX 77276 or go to our Donate page.
