Treasure Hunt Week 2 Clue

We have a golf course in the neighborhood built in 1922 that was the first golf course in the state of Texas that allowed African-American golfers.  It was named for the man who donated 285 acres to the City of Houston for a public park. It is not the only putting green in MPNA.  Can you locate another?

Use the clue to locate the token and be the first to send your picture of the token in the location where you found it to Cindy Woods, community@museumparkna.org.  The winner will exchange the token for a $10 gift card to a local business. If the token is not located within three days, subsequent clues will be posted until the token is found.

The token will never be located on private property, but will be readily accessible in public easements. For this event, the boundaries are: East side of Main Street, West side of 288, North side of Hermann Drive, and South side of Alabama Street.

You do NOT need to be a member of MPNA to participate.  However, we do hope that this treasure hunt will persuade residents to join and support the MPNA goals - to maintain and enhance the quality of life and value of our neighborhood.
